SATELLITE CENTRE

1. A Satellite centre in Aska (Ganjam, Orissa) is functioning since 26 Mar, 1999 on every Friday at Anatha Arnadana Kendra, Aska. This centre is in collaboration with Krushna Chandra Memorial Trust. On every 1st & 3rd Friday OPD is conducted and on 2nd & 4th Friday, cataract surgery is done forpatient respectively.
2. On every first day of Odia calendar month (sankranti) a fixed Eye Camp is held at Taratarini Temple (Purushottampur Block) in co-ordination with Tara Tarini Development Trust, for the poor people. People gather here to visit this famous temple and we take this opportunity to propagate eye health care message. This has been a successful program since 2006.
3. Since January 2012 a fixed Eye OPD is being held in Balipadara (Ganjam, Odisha) on every Friday with the support of a veteran social worker in his house. This place is well connected to nearby villages and comes under Buguda block.
4. A satellite centre in Daringbadi, District-Kandhamal (140 Kms one way), Odisha started functioning on 10th of every month from Apr 2015 in collaboration with an NGO "Jagruti" of Daringbadi. The response is good and in coming days we expect more patient flow from this centre.
5. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday every week Eye OPD is being held at VISION CENTRE at Chilika, Balugaon, near Naval Centre.
